How is the coursework like?
There are 7 intriguing chapters on accessibility and a quiz at the end of the coursework. They are very educational and easy to read.
How long will the course take?
It all depends on your pace but generally, about two and a half hours. Most finished within that time frame.
Do I need to finish the course in one sitting?
No. You can pause at any time and come back to continue later. Majority finished the coursework in one sitting.
Is there any time limit to take the course?
Yes. You have 30 days after you signed up for the course, providing you with ample time and flexibility.
How many times can I take the quiz?
There is no limit on the number of times but you need to have at least 20 out of the 25 questions correctly answered to pass the quiz. Most passed the quiz on the first try.
What's the most efficient strategy to take and pass the quiz?
Take notes while you study or print out the chapters to refer to while answering the quiz questions. Memorizing dates and dimensions are not required but understanding the overall concept of ADA is essential.
How soon will I be receiving my Certificate of Completion?
It appears immediately after you passed the quiz and we email you as well for your own record and printout.
What if I need it for my AIA continuing education learning units?
We submit electronically to Continuing Education System at AIA on a weekly basis for their proper recording and crediting.
I need 5 coursework hours to renew my California license at the end of this year. Are you going to have that?
Yes, we are currently working on a 5-hour coursework and should be ready by the end of the year. It would be more comprehensive with the inclusion of IBC and CBC materials and highlighting out their differences with ADA.
